About Us

The West Houston Quilter's Guild is a non-profit organization founded in 1993 with the purpose of developing and nurturing appreciation for the art of quilting and its history. Simply put, we are a group of people who love quilts!

Community Service Projects

Members of the West Houston Quilter's Guild are very generous in sharing their time and talents with numerous organizations in our community through a variety of projects.

The Comfort Quilters Bee

Is responsible for coordinating the creation of and distribution of all of the quilts and other items that the Guild

donates each year to local charities.

The Bee meets at the Steve Radack Community Center located at 18650 Clay Rd. every Thursday from 10:00 - 3:30.

(Bring your sewing machine and the usual sewing supplies and the rest will be provided.)

If you are unable to attend the Bee meetings, you are encouraged to pick up a kit at the Community Service table at the Guild meetings. The Comfort Quilters chairmen are there to answer questions and help you with your selection. We also are happy to accept quilts you have created from your own supplies.
