DONATION QUILT
"Thread of Time" is a beautiful hand appliquéd,
embroidered and machine pieced quilt made from a multitude of
brilliant cotton fabrics, some hand dyed, on a background of
blue ombre that shades from royal blue through turquoise and
green to light blue. The appliqué designs are taken from 17th
and 18th century European tapestry and embroidery designs. The
hand appliqué, embroidery and machine piecing was done by
members of the West Houston Quilter’s Guild. It is custom
machine quilted by Pam Klein. The quilt measures 70 X 70. |

Donation quilt tickets will be for
sale at the 2009 Quilt Show, West Houston Quilt Guild meetings
and from guild members. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for
$5. If you want to purchase tickets, send your request(s), with
payment enclosed, to the guild mail box listed below or you may
email Judith Habermacher. We will be happy to fill out
the stubs and return a receipt and the left-hand portion of the
ticket to the purchaser if you include a SASE (self addressed
stamped envelope).
