SUGARBEES

We are the Sugar Bees.

Our 10 member  busy bee  meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month. Many of our members are still working girls thus we meet in the evenings,   7pm to 9pm at Quilters Emporium located right off the SW Freeway in the  Stafford/Sugarland area. Meetings at a Quilt shop does have its advantages like shopping after hours for that item you forgot or have run out of or just need a little inspirations,  its right at your finger tips.

The Sugarbees enjoy  meeting to  discussions current quilting projects, event  or to experience quilting with others in a small  group setting. We have a wide range of talent from beginners to expert if you have question or need Ideas or just want to share a new way of doing something.  We take road trip, and participates in  shop hops throughout the year.

Each year we vote on the method for  our Community Quilt Project / Donation Quilt.  We do this in a  round robin fashion & at the  last meeting of the month we pass to the next bee member  & then in November of each year  we turn in  10 Quilts to the  Guild for donation.  At Christmas we also participate in making  Christmas stocking  for the Guild donation.

We welcome  visitors to our meeting if you would like to attend one or would like to join us please let us know by contacting the Guild Bee Keeper and she will pass your information to us.
